December 31,2004
  • New Years Eve Chester picked up Tiffani, Conner and Gizmo around noon and we meet at Wal-mart parking lot and then we all rode together to the coner cafe to have lunch. Kevin was with his boss and co-workers riding 4-wheelers.. After we ate we went on to the house to enjoy the afternoon together.. While waiting on the others to arrive Chester took a nap, with Tiffani and I trying to squeeze one in but we were not fast enough for Conner.. He wasn't in the mood to take a long nap today.
    The first to arrive was Tracy, Destry and Dalton with Kevin not far behind them. He had a great time riding and was a little tipsie so he ate a bite, played a couple of hands of cards then took a shower and the next thing we knew he was fast asleep on our bed.. LOL..
    When David and Robin got here we began playing Texas holdem at a quater bet limit around. Carol and Donnie, Kim and Trevor joined us before 9pm.
    Everyone seemed to have a good time with everyone going toward their own homes shortly after midnight or most were gone by 1pm. Carol stayed overnight with us.
    I received some cuties already for 2005.. They can be seen here.

    What we are doing as the year begins
    Chester is co owner of C.C.& R Construction.
    I am the secretary of C.C.& R Construction.
    Tiffani working at Local Oklahoma bank at Lindsay, OK and also works part-time for C.C.& R Construction..
    Kevin working at TnT forklift at Lindsay, OK
    Conner is just hanging out with his mom
    but soon she will go back to work and he will
    stay with his Grannie.
    Tracy is a RN working at Lindsay -hospital.
    Destry working at Rodney's welding at Lindsay, OK
    Dalton is living with his Mom living and going to school in Calvin, OK
    Brooklynn is living with her Mom, going to school in Lindsay, OK

    It was a short night, but we really did enjoyed it, we hadn't had that much company on New Years Eve in a long time.. and playing Texas Holdem was fun and no one really lost or won more than a few bucks.
    After we got up and had a few cups of coffee around 10am the three of us left for the lake house.. Carol drove her own car as she would probably want to leave early than we would want to Sunday..
    Joining us down there today was Carol, Tiffani, Kevin, Conner and Gizmo, Destry and Dalton (Tracy was working)David and Robin
    Carol, Conner Gizmo and myself stayed at Pa's Place while the others went to the riding tails 4-wheeling around 1pm and rode until around 6pm.
    Caorl and I got in the hot tub while Conner was sleeping but before he woke up the unit shut down.. Oh well looks like we are going to have to call the service man out again to fix it.. Bummer..
    Staying alnight was: Carol, Tiffani, Kevin, Conner and Gizmo.

    January 02, 2005
    MISTY RAIN.. We had a great breakfast cooked by Chester and Kevin, using that new grill the girls got us for Christmas..
    We didn't think that they would go riding but Torie and her family called and they were almost to the riding trails when they ran into the rain so they came on to Pa's place but since the rain was still a fine mist Torie and Jamie Rose stayed at the house with Carol, Tiffani, Conner, Gizmo and myself while the guys went on over to the trails to ride 4-wheelers. We played or should I say tried to play a couple of games of Whaoo but the little ones didn't really like us not paying them their due attention so we soon gave up and visited. Carol left around 3 but the guys didn't get back from riding until around 4:30pm so while we waited on them Tiffani got in the hot tub to do a quick soak but she no sooner got in and the guys came home..After they all changed clothes, (Caleb and Kevin joined Tiffani in the hot tub for a quick soak) and ate a sandwich it was after 6 before we left to come home.. That is a lot later than we like to leave for home but things don't always go as planned.

    Today I have to get some company work done and of course in between I need to do some laundry.
    Tonight I go to my first Photo club meeting..The president of the photo club is none other than Flora Diffie the mother of Joe Diffle . If I get home early enough I will recap the evening.
    They say what you do on Monday you do all week.. I hope that saying is not right.. giggle.

    January 4, 2004
    It is going to get cold and nasty the rest of this week but we need the cold to keep the bug problem under control this coming summer.
    I woke up at 5am.. I will be tired before this day is over but I have so much to get done for tonight. We are having family over to watch the big game..

    Orange Bowl - USC vs. Oklahoma - 8:00 PM - Pro Player Stadium Miami, FL
    They should start arriving around 6pm to join us in a bowl of Chili before the game.. Robin is suppose to bring beans but who knows what time they will get here with them..
    I or Chester decided that we would just leave the Christmas tree up until after tonights game.. It has never been up this late.. but we are meeting ourselves coming and going so that is one thing that we are putting off until tomorrow..giggle.

    sigtag made with a tube Aunt Peggy .... OUCH the sooners got wooped last night, 55-19 .. The Sooners didn't have any luck at all so USC wins back-to-back national titles. USC really did shine.
    Those watching the game on our Big screen were Carol, Tiffani, Kevin, Conner and Gizmo, Destry and Tracy, David and Robin, Torie and Rodney with them going after Caleb and Jamie Rose at half time.
    It is suppose to get to a high of 32 today and a low of 17.. The winter weather is here.

    January 6,2005
    Tiffani's First day back to work and my first day to baby sit Conner. With the weather being so cold and not knowing what the roads would be like this morning I told Tiffani I would catch a ride with Chester as he went to work. So up at 5 WHAT WAS I THINKING.. giggle.. The roads were not bad at all I could have made it no problem but we didn't know that until we got going.. it got down to about about 12 degrees, by lunch the sun was out but not much was thawing. Keeping Conner today was different.. he was perfect.. he played, ate and slept.. giggle.... time just flew by and I didn't get anything done.. I know once we get use to being together I will settle into a routine.
    Chester got to Tiffani's before she got home so we had a great time playing with Conner together.. When she and Kevin got home we visited just a minute and then went to town to eat.. Tracy and Destry meet us there.. It is always so great to get to set down for a meal with our girls and their family.. I am sure Destry wishes he had his kids but that isn't meant to be.. After we ate everyone went to their own homes and I am sure they are all curled up for the night.. I am fixing to be.. giggle.

    Tiffani and Conner went with Chester and I to the Lake house when she got off of work. David was working in Ardmore so Robin meet him down there and they also stayed the night.. Kevin is on call tomorrow so he stayed at home alone which I think he was looking forward to a great night sleep..

    January 8,2005
    Last night Tiffani feed Conner and of course did the normal rocking and burmping but at about 11:15 she went to lay him down and he woke back up.. She left him in his carry along crib and he went to sleep on his own.. Cool he didn't have to be picked up and rocked some more.. but a even more amazing things was HE SLEPT FROM 11:30 TO 7AM THE NEXT MORNING.. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME HE HAS SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT. So not only did his Dad get a good night sleep so did his Mom..
    Kevin made it down to Pa's Place around 4pm and after a quick soak in the hot tub we all got dressed and went to Mcgees catfish at Marietta.. It was good but not as good as it use to be.

    Tiffani
    My sweeties birthday.. It seem so strange to see her grown when in my thoughts I still see her as my Little girl..
    Tiffani's and Kevins birthday celebration to eachother is going to see The Cable Guy (Comedy show) Jan 18th in OK City.. And Chester and I get to watch Conner..
    We started the morning off with breakfast cooked by Chester and Myself.. Conner only got up one time last night but when breakfast was served they were still asleep so we left them curled up in their beds and set a plate aside for The Birthday girl.. When she and Conner got up we just kicked back and visited.. David went on to Ardmore to work at his works shop, Robin hung around until he called to say he was ready to go on home with a load of steel.. Kevin stayed untill around 2pm then he had to leave for work. Chester, Tiffani, Conner, Gizmo and I finished picking up and closing up the house, then went toward home around 4 stopping at Braums for a Birthday Ice Cream.. giggle..
    Tiffani drove othe Surb home so Kevin wouldn't have to come out this way to get them.. In the morning I will drive the tan pickup over and pickup the surb.. Better than switching the car seat base around..

    January 10,2005

    NOTE: Tiffani said Conner slept from 11pm to 5:30am.. Way to go Conner.
    What a morning and it is only half gone.. First I went over to Tiffani's around 7:15 stopping on the way to get Tiffani and I a biscuit.. I noticed as I was paying that my house keys weren't in my jacket pocket.. Humm I thought did I leave the silly things in the door?? I know I am loosing it but heck I haven't had a blonde moment in a while so I thought I was due one.. No problem I am going back home as soon as Conner wakes.. When I got to Tiffs, she was finishing feeding Conner so when he was ready to be laid down I put him in his car seat as I wanted to be home as early as possible as this is payweek. We left at the same time Tiffani going to work, Conner, Gizmo and me going to my house..Expecting to see my keys dangling in the lock of the front door, I was shocked and pissed when they weren't.. I have to use them to lock the house.. THE HOUSE IS LOCKED so I start backtracking my steps.. Not on the porch, not in the yard, so we go back to Tiffani's house to look in the tan pickup. There they are.. they had fell out of my pocket and was hooked in between the console and the floor.. So now I am back home and fixing to start working.. and having my first adventure watching Conner will doing so.. I am sure the rest of my day will be calm compared to my morning.
    The rest of my day went great..Conner is such a sweet baby. He will be 2 months old tomorrow and he is really smiling and cooing now days.. Especially when you are talking to him. He loves his vibrating chair, swing and just laying around on a pallet. When he has a wet or BM diaper he lets you know by becoming fussie but once he is dry and full he is a happy little man. The only thing that I know he doesn't like is Burbing.. He throws a little fit when you put him in any position to burb..

    January 11,2005
    Conner is two months old tonight.
    Again Tiffani reports Conner slept well last night.. From 11:00 - 4:30am.. I hope he keeps this up for his Mom and Dad. This morning Tiffani brought Conner and Gizmo over to my house instead of me going over to their house and waiting for Conner to wake to come back home. She said that all went smooth but of course it is much easier if I come over.. giggle.. honestly she knows on pay weeks I just can't do that unless Conner is sick or the weather is bad. Oh I guess I could but I would rather not.
    I tried to take a picture of Conner in remembrance of him being 2 months old but by the time I got around to it he wasn't a real happy camper.. Once I get it resized and loaded I will add it to his page..
    Our day was spent in the usual manner.. mixing work and play.. giggle.. I love being able to watch this little guy..
    I did fix Chili for Supper and sent some home with Tiffani for their dinner. After we ate I stretched out on the sofa and the next thing I know Chester is waking me up to go to bed.. I haven't done that in a long long time..

  • Conner will be staying the night tonight.. Tiffani's work has a meeting she has to attend in OK City tonight and another meeting all day tomorrow so the kids reserved them a room payed by her work.. As I told them there are silly if they take Conner, Enjoy and have fun.. and I am glad they are.
    Big work day for me today.. Tiffani doesn't have to leave for OK City until around 3 so I plan on getting my work done before Conner gets here..
    It is 10pm and Conner is wide eyed and watching his Ocean Wonders Aquarium that is attached to his bouncer.. so I thought I would check my emails.. I have so many that it has taken me awhile getting them opened and replied to.. I there buried was this cute graphic.. Thanks Liz I am just sorry that it took me so long to get it into my nest.

    Conner slept from 11pm last night until 7am this morning.. What a surprise.. With him being in a strange crib that he might be up and down all night.
    Chery came today, and around noon Tracy came over to ooh and aaaw over Conner.. Chester came home around 3:30 just in time to visit with Tracy for a minute.. We had a quick supper after Kevin came after Conner around 5:30.. Then we just kicked back and watched TV.. plus I was got some things out for the Creative Memories workshop I am attending Saturday..I came across this picture.. This is Tiffani at 3 months old.. Conner does look like his Dad more than his mom, especially the amount of hair and it's color

    Nancze's ~ Cliff and Val's big day as they greet their little Madison into this world. My prayers are with them.
    TIRED.. I have had a long week but I really think I am getting a ear ache so I am only here long enough to post that my day with Conner was wonderful.. I didn't get any work done but it is my fault not his.. I find myself just sitting watching him look around.giggle.

  • Creative Memories workshop ~ It cost 20.00
    Norma and I had a great time at the workshop.. The workshop was not what we expected but we made the best of it.. LOL we left early because she wasn't showing us anything we were just working on our pages.. I did purchase some things to make putting pages together somewhat easier.. The guys went down to Pa's Place around 11am to start doing some wiring on the basement. They hit some snags in the old wiring but after a trip to town and supper at Catfish corner they think they might be able to get everything working... It was close to 9pm when we got back to Pa's Place from town and they tried a few more things and it still didn't work. Sometime it is best to just walk away and try again another day.. So to relax we all got in the hot tub for about a hour and then called it a night...
    NOTE: Tiffani, Kevin and Conner went to OK City and purchased new livingroom furniture. They also purchased new pillow top King size bed set for thier roon at Pa's Place. They brought it home but the furniture will not be delived until next week but that will give them time to get the room emptied.

    January 16,2005
    After a good night rest and breakfast, Leo and Chester worked again on the electricity down in the basement getting all the plugs and the over head light working. They were both so tickeled.. and so was I .. THANKS LEO AND NORMA..
    They had a birthday party for Leo's nepher Kevin in OK City at 2pm so they left around 11. Chester and I started picking up around the place and both had a quick shower when Tiffani, Kevin and Conner arrived with the new King size bed they had purchased yesterday for their room. When it was unloaded and set up, Conner was down for a nap so everyone tried to squeeze one in also.. But Conner's didn't stay down long so I let everyone get a short nap and I played with him.. Around 4:30 we all headed home.. It was a busy but great week-end.

    I received a few emails over the week-end, some I haven't had time to open yet but two that I did read were from
    Tea sent me one of her newest Valentine sets.. It is adorable and I can't wait to get it into My Nest.. Thanks millions Tea.. I will get it set soon.. The other email was from Nancze announcing the birth of her first grandchild, Madison Friday at 5:58pm. She is precious.. Congratulations Nancze. I am sure Nancze is bubbling over and praising the Lord that all is well with Mom and baby Madison.

  • Jamie Roses Birthday
    I have had a dull headache today.. I have taken advil but I don't think it is anything that new glasses wouldn't cure.. but I also started my one source vitamins up again.. I feel so tired that I am hoping they will help.
    Tiffani, Conner and Gizmo came over around 3 so Tiffani could do the company's payroll taxes.. I had just layed down but that's OK I really don't need to get in the habit of afternoon naps.. but Tiffani was off work today so I thought I would spoil myself.. I forgot she was coming over this afternoon.. Chester came home early, around 4:30, played with Conner a bit, sitting him on the sofa at the corner and was surprised when he sit up so well.. I took a few pictures to add to his album.. giggle.. Kevin was working late so Chester cooked sausage and pancakes for the three of us for supper.. Tiff, Conner and Gizmo went home shortly after fear factor, 8pm, then Chester stretched out on the sofa to watch tv and I played in my Okie Nest..

    Conner is a bit fussie and he also received his first dose of Infants' Tylenol Concentrated Drops Grape Flavor.. he is doing good after his shots but they said to give him the tylenol ever 4 to 6 hours for 24 hours to take the edge off. Conner will be staying the night tonight.. The kids are going to see Larry the Cable Guy at the Ford Center - Oklahoma City, with two other couples, for a belate Birthday gift to eachother.
    UPDATE: Conner was fussie this afternoon but not that bad and by the evening he seemed fine. Cooing and playing on his palet. Tiffani decided to come after Conner when they got home from OK City, since she has the day off tomorrow.

    Chery called from Tracy's house hunting the vacuum attachments.. Hello I don't live there but I called Tracy for her.. Tracy didn't realize that Cheryl was to be there today and was embarrassed that she hadn't picked up the house.. Oh well I am the worst about getting the house cleaned before Cheryl comes here so I understand what she means.
    UPDATE: Conner was fussie this afternoon but not that bad and by the evening he seemed fine. Cooing and playing on his palet. Tiffani decided to come after Conner when they got home from OK City, since she has the day off tomorrow.

    January 19,2005
    Tiffani had today off from work so she decided to come after Conner when she and Kevin got home from OK City last night. She called before they got home and asked if he fell asleep before she got here to put Conner down in his car seat. And that I did, he feel asleep about 10minutes before she got here. Kevin has a little to much spirts so he didn't come with her.. Stay away from the Segram's (Gin) 7 Kevin
    This morning I was busy doing book work, playing catch up since I didn't have Conner here... around noon the w2 and 1099 I had ordered from intuit arrived so I called Tiffani to see if she would like to get them done while she was off.. She, Conner and Gizmo came over around 1:30 bringing her sandwich maker machine and fixings to make us a hot sandwich for lunch and she also brought Chicken and potatoes to cook for supper. Once we ate lunch we got busy doing the company's W2 and 1099's taking a few breaks to coo at Conner and also to visit with his Aunt Tracy..
    Tracy was also off today but she had many errans to run but did stop by on her way home from going to the bank to see Tiffani and Conner.. and of course me ~ her Mom..
    We had everything done and the PC backed up before 4... We were expecting it to take us a lot longer.. Tiffani you did great.
    Kevin and Chester made it in shortly before 5 but bless Chester's heart he got side tracked when he arrived... He wanted to get the cats feed and also knew he had things that he wanted to bring in the house from his pick-up ~ so ~ he decided to feed the cats first then to come inside.. OOps.. he forgot to take his keys out and he had pushed the lock button on the door without realizing it.. and his extra set was on his console.. Poor baby he was so upset with his self. He and Kevin went back to town where he purchased the pick-up to get a master key.. Luckly they were still open and he was able to get a master key.. Finally in the house we settled into supper ~ Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy and salad..
    Kevin and Tiffani cleaned up the kitchen while Chester and I relaxed with Conner.. and watched a little tv.. We changed Conner and Tiffani began feeding him when Kevin decided to go home to start picking up their house because Cheryl will be there tomorrow morning to do their basic housecleaning.
    Now it is back to a Quite house.. Chester is now on the sofa watching tv with his eyes closed and I am trying to capture the day without going on and on ..
    Did I say that Conner is sooooo precious.. giggle

    I made the Committment, to do my HW from Darylynn and I sure hope I can stay committed.. The next assignment is due in Feb. about Desperate housewives.. I need to watch one of the shows so I know what it is about.. Oh my.. Chester is going to love this.. giggle.
    Conner is sleeping late this morning it's work for me but I had to come in for a quick post.... I am looking forward to another great day with Conner..
    Tiffani and Kevin purchased new livingroom furniture so either tonight or tomorrow night we are going over to help them get their Christmas things back in their attic and to empty their livingroom/dinningroom so that the carpet can be restretched before the furniture arrives this coming Tuesday. :O)

    I have been up since 5am.. What am I thinking??? giggle
    Today I will pay some more company bills and work on getting the time entered so that I won't be so pressed next week.. At least that is my plans, but I have to stay on track. I am still having trouble getting things done cause all I want to do is cooo at Conner.. I am sure that will change but I do really need to manage his sleeping time better..
    We didn't go over to Tiff's last night as Kevin didn't get home until after 7pm and he was tired. So tonight I guess we will help them get the livingroom/dinningroom ready for Kevin's Uncle that is going to restretch their carpet...
    Tiffani has to work Saturday and Kevin is on call so he has to go in .... SO Chester and I won't be going down to Pa's Place until after one of them get off and pick up Conner. He is still a little young to be going down there without his Mom or Dad.
    Tracy is off this week-end and they have only Brooklynn. Dalton came last week-end for some reason. Anyway she said she or they may come down to Pa's Place Saturday night.. I remind her that she has a key.. if she or they want to go down anytime it is OK with us.

    Saturday, January 22,2005
    Tiffani worked today and so did Kevin so little Conner got to be with Chester and I.. Kevin's Uncle came early to stretch the carpet and Tiffani said she wanted us to go down to Pa's Place and she would come down and spend the night when she got off work but Kevin is on call so he isn't going to come down.. So the packing began, we loaded and loaded and loaded and off to Pa's Place we went.. I had forgotten when you take a baby somewhere it is like moving.. giggle
    After we got the chill of the house, Chester and Conner settled in for a nap.. I took the rest of my scrapbooking things down to the lake house so while they slept I worked on doing a few pages in Tracy's album..
    Tracy came down by herself... Destry was plowing and she told him that Brooklynn comes to see him not her so she sadly left Brooklynn with Destry and came down.. She is so confused about him not making time for his children on his week-ends that he has visitation. I am not sure if she did the right thing but I sure don't blame her for coming without them.. A woman has to do what a woman has to do to make her point.. She got down around 3pm stopping at the Davis Gaming Center ~Treasure Valley ~ She should have just went on by.. LOL.. after a loss of $30.00.
    Tiffani got down to the lake around 5pm, Kevin's X boss, Brad and his wife were at their house when she got home and they were disappointed that Conner was with us at the lake.. shortly after they left she headed on down. I was starving so we loaded up and went over to Fireside Dining Restaurant within the Lake Murray Village. It is rather expensive but since it was just us and the girls and Conner we decided to spoil them a bit.. Conner was asleep when we got there and slept until the main part of the meal arrived.. I think he is getting where he smells food.. LOL.. After a great meal it was back to Pa's Place.. Carol showed up shortly after we got back around 8pm.. She brought Zack's baby crib for us to have at the lake house .. and also brought me back the girls soft side twin water bed..Thanks Carol for the crib but I have no idea what we are going to do with the water bed.. LOL I guess I could get the back bedroom cleaned up and put it in there.. Wow that would take some major rearranging.. Well Spring is around the corner so maybe I will do it.. hummmm.
    Us 4 girls had a nice soak in the hot tub while Pa Pa played with Conner.. when we all rinsed off and got into our bed clothes we just lazied around the livingroom watching Conner play on his palet.. He seemed to get fussie and we realized he was probably to hot in the outfit he was in so his Great Aunt Carol stripped him down to his bib and diaper.. He Loved it. while he was stretched out Carol noticed a knot in the middle of his chest.. We have never noticed this in all the bathing and stripping him down.. and it didn't seem to be bothering him, but it is something that shouldn't be there. All most like a cyst. This is something we are going to have to watch and Tracy is going to mention it to the doctors where she works and if they think we should his doctor we will.. I have no idea what it is or why it just appeared ~ his doctor "Amy" didn't notice it at his appointment last week. Thinking about it we will probably be taking the little fellow in next week if it is still there.
    Everyone turned in shortly after 10 except Carol and I.. I messed with my scrappingbooking and she stretched out for the night on the sofa.. I finally turned in around midnight.

    I got up around 6:30 and went outside to smoke I saw that Tiffani had her light on so when I finished I peeked in and she was feeding Conner. At the end of Conners feeding I bundled him up and took him to the main house where he played awhile, he was cooing and making all those sweet baby sounds and faces. *smiles* then after a bottle of breast milk he fell asleep in his swing. Carol just ate it up that he is so active when he is laying in the floor and how he calms down in the swing.
    While Conner slept Carol and I put a couple more pages Now on to Christmas next week-end..
    The knot that we noticed on Conners chest isn't as big this morning but it is still there.. this has all of us wondering.
    We all left Pa's Place by 3pm.. Tiff and Conner going to their home, Tracy stopping at Ardmore wal-mart to pick up material to make a car carrier blanket for one of the nurses aids where she works upcoming baby shower, Carol off to see her Grandsons at Purcell then on home.
    Chester and I stoped by Lowells to look at products we will need next week-end for the basement. I think we will be able to get what we want for the walls for under $200.00.. We plan on picking it up Friday night on our way back to the lake house. Plans we are good at making them but sometimes things don't always go as planned.. Maybe this will.

    It's Monday.. We had a wonderful week-end.. It was great having Carol and both of our girls and Conner with us at the lake. Today I watch Conner and work on payroll as I can. I have gotten up early.. so far I have the time that I have entered and I am hoping Chester will bring me the rest of it before noon so I can get it entered and possibly get the Payroll cut tonight.. but that is wishful thinking.. grin..
    Tiffani has a body massage after work today which was a gift from Kevin that she wasn't able to use up until now.. If Kevin gets off work before she is finished he is going to be picking Conner up.
    UPDATE: Kevin's Uncle said he could restretch their bedroom capet tonight if he would get the furniture out, so when Chester came home we took Conner home to assist Kevin in getting the room ready for his uncle.. When we got there he had most of the small things out so it didn't take him and Chester long to empty the room.. Kevin's uncle came and got it all stretched and trimmed out.. Destry stopped by and he helped get things back into the bedroom.. By then it was 7pm so we all loaded up and meet Tracy at the Mexican cafe for supper.. Home on a full tummie, I feel asleep on the sofa waiting to watch the new TV show SuperNanny.. Maybe I will be able to stay awake and watch it next week.

    Another beautiful day .. spent the morning at Tiffs waiting for their living room furniture to be delivered. I love what they selected.
    Getting home around 1pm, Conner took short naps so I didn't get alot done but that's OK.. He is worth it.. Kevin picked him up around 5:30, Chester cooked us supper and I finished entering the payroll time and printing out the envoices.. Finishing up around 9pm.. Tomorrow I have to get payroll printed and end of the month bills paid.. Bummer..

    Tiffani doesn't have to go to work until 8:45 today but the bank manager failed to leave the girl that was opening money so she had to go in at regular time after all.
    I will be working in between playing with Conner.. I am getting better about not just sitting watching him play and getting some things done but I need to get better focused on my work.. giggle.. I can't believe Conner is completely in 3-6 month clothing.. The 0-3's still fit except in the length.

    What a good but tiring day.. Tiffani brought Conner over at regular time, he stayed asleep until 10am. That would have been great but Cheryl came today and I never seem to get anything done when she is here.
    After lunch when Cheryl left Conner was in full steam.. He was in one of those Entertain me Grandma Moods.. LOL He also found his tonge today.. He was sticking it out all the time..
    Chester came home early to play with Conner a bit so I could get the payroll finished but he no sooner got home and Leo and Norma came by.. They brought by the neatest tool for us to use to cut the plug in holes out of the wood we are putting up the week-end at Pa's Place .. Thanks guys we appreciate it..
    After a great visit.. I finally got to work.. Payroll is in their envelopes.. NOTE: Error on a I-9.. Now I have to get ahold of our accountant to find out what I need to do to fix the error.. Crap.. I knew I shouldn't have mailed the copies off so quick to the federal and state.. Another thing on my plate I didn't want..

    Debra's daughter Angela is attached to the 348th CSH and has been deployed since last February. She was supposed to be coming home in a week or so but they extended her tour. Now it looks like she won't be coming home until August.

    A full day of work.. Conner was such a good baby boy today.. I got a lot done but I am still having trouble getting the 1099 error fixed but will conquer it Monday..
    We left for Pa's Place around 4pm taking Conner and Gizmo with us. After we got the heat going and unloaded we left Gizmo in the house and went to Ardmore to meet Tiffani and Kevin for supper at Catfish Corner.. It was good.
    Connie let me know that her SIL Corey is in Arizona on base learning a new MOS. I image he'll go back in a year or so.

    Chester and Kevin were the first to rise this morning followed by myself then Tiffani, Conner then Tracy..
    Chester and Kevin went to Lowells and purchased 10 sheets of siding for the basement.. They got almost back to Pa's Place when they realized that the clerk hadn't given the screws they had paid for so they had to turn around and go back to get them.. The clerk had given them to the next customers but luckly she remembered Chester's purchase and realized the error and allowed him to get some more.. Shortly after they got back to Pa's Place Destry had arrived so after a quick bite to eat they started hanging the siding.. On my goodness it looks so much better.
    It was a cloudy and dreary but with us working inside it didn't really matter.. No moisture until late in the evening which was good since the guys were cutting the siding in the barn and we didn't want it to get wet..
    The girls and I enjoyed our day, watching tv, playing with Conner, taking short naps and soaking in the hot tub. I didn't take a nap but I did play with my scrapbooking.. It is so much fun putting these pages of the girls together and the SIL's are enjoying seeing their wives at different stages of their lives.
    Conner went from his back to his right side today more than once.. before we know it he will be turning on over.

    A wonderful day surrounded by family.. It would have been complete if Dalton and Brooklynn were with us. Yesterday and today were so dreary looking outside but it didn't dampen our time together. Kevin and I were the only ones today to take a soak in the hot tub.. I think the others were just to lazy to get their suits on.. giggle.
    I am still working on scrapbooking while at Pa's Place.. I got a few more pages done with many many more to do... It is fun to get to do the girls pages.. Each photo brings back so many special memories of them.
    Conner really found his hands today.. and also found Pa Pa's tongue.. Chester was holding him and Conner was sticking his tongue out and then when Chester did it back to him he tried his best to get it.. This went on for a half a hour at least.
    Tracy, Destry and Josie were the first to get around to leave today which was around 3pm. They went to get some grocreys before they went on home and then stopped by Lone John Silvers for supper so they wouldn't have to cook what they had just purchased.
    Tiffani, Kevin, Conner and Gizmo was getting ready to leave when Tiffani decided to feed Conner first.. Then Conner decided he was going to have a BM.. and WOW what a BM.. It got everywhere.. Those pampers will just hold so much.. giggle.. after a rinse in the sink then a sink bath he was ready to go.. NOTE: We threw away the changing pad and his white shirt because it was all over it.. He should feel much better.. LOL

    1099 error is fixed.. and am I ever glad.. I can't believe there were so many steps to correcting the error.
    Today was a wonderful day.. Conner didn't really sleep that much today but he played on his palet while I worked.. He is really loving his hands..
    Kevin came after Gizmo for his trim appointment. He really was over due for a hair cut..but he hates going and Tiffani keeps putting it off.
    Tiffani picked Conner up when she got off work. I sent home fixing for burritos for their supper..
    My sinus trouble is still with me.. but Oh well life goes on even when you don't feel good.
    I can't believe it is the last day of January.. It looks like snowie weather tomorrow night then back into the high 50's until the end of the week-end. How nice that'll be!!
    Tonight is TV night for Chester.. I have been fighting a sinus headache for a few days.. Over the counter meds don't seem to be working.. with our crazy weather I guess it would take something stonger.

    Gizmo is broke out on his tummie, Kevin took him to the vet for a much need alergy shot.
    Kevin picked up Conner around 5:30. Sometimes I wonder why he doesn't come on after him when he is just sitting around the office but his loss our gain.. I sent home Pinto beans, cornbread and ready to fry potatoes for their supper tonight..
    Chester had to go back to work around 9pm. He found out he has to go to Houston in the morning to do a hotshot job for Marathon.. I normally would go with him but since it was 11pm I didn't want to call Tiffani to see what arrangements we could make for Conner. Chester will stay the night and won't be back until sometime Thursday so I will stay home.

    Chester didn't stay the night on the road.. silly man drove straight down, delivered the material for Marathon, and headed back.. He arrived back home at 10:30 pm... Houston is a good 8 hour drive from here so need less to say he wasn't driving the speed limit. What you will do to sleep in your own bed.

    I really enjoyed yesterday's quiet time and was glad Chester decided to make it a round trip even though he will be pooped tonight.. I was surprised how I missed Conner and Gizmo being here. I did work on things that I have been postponing.. like the companies outstanding invoices and getting some of the tax things gathered.. You would think that the major oil companies would pay in a reasonable time but we have some that are way over 3 months past due.
    After I had done a good amount of work I surfed the net looking at others scrapbooking layouts.. Seen some great ideas if I can just remember them when I get to do a page again..
    This morning Conner arrived wide awake in a wonderful mood.. He played for over a hours when all of a sudden he was having a fit.. HUNGRY.. Yep with 4 ounces in his tummie he is sleeping like a rock at the moment.. Tiffani is picking him up after work and they are going to visit with Chester's Dad. He hasn't seen Conner since Christmas.
    I am sure when Chester gets home from work he will crash .. and I hope to go catch up at the Playroom at myfamily.com...I have really missed being active with this special group of people.

    Beautiful morning.
    Conner was again awake when his Mom brought him this morning.. When taking his morning bottle he seemed to get strangled and he is real gassie... He hasn't had a BM for two days now so he is probably having a hard time finding a place to put anything new.
    Today I have the regular company work to get done but I hope to get it done early this morning and enjoy the afternoon with Conner.. qand maybe even do a little housework.. Tiffani doesn't get off work until 6pm tonight and also has to work until 3pm tomorrow so we won't be going down to Pa's Place until after she gets off Saturday. That's OK we have some things to get done around here, LIKE start gathering our Tax things.. YUCK I hate doing this part of the New Year..
    UPDATE: Company books are caught up as far as I can and a little housework and laundry was done.. Conner had a good stickie BM.. and it was contained in the diaper.. Yepie... LOL
    Kevin picked up Conner around 5:30. He had come by earlier in the day while out looking for his sunglasses that had blown off his dash the day before on his way home from our house.. he found them, I am surprised.... He told me that he would NOT be picking him up as he was planning on having a few brews at the end of the work day... Oh well that is between him and his wife. So I was surprised that he came after Conner.. and hadn't been drinking.
    This evening all we did was watched tv and relax.

    Tiffani had to work today until 3pm so Chester and I watched Conner. Chester spent most of the day working on our tax things. He ruled the kitchen table.. We are not good at keeping it sorted thought out the year so it is always a big mess. Tiffani got off work and came after Conner. She told me that Kevin didn't go out today.. Well it would have been nice if he would have came after his son so we could have done the shopping that we need to do but Oh well I guess he isn't ready to be left alone that long with him yet..
    After Conner and Tiffani left we went to our local wal-mart on the way I called Norma to find out what I needed for the photo club meeting and found out that her MIL was in the hospital so we decided that we wouldn't go to the meeting Monday..
    At wal-mart we bought the normal household supplies and I picked up a few scrapbooking things.. Then we stopped into the dollar store so I could see what they had in the scrapbooking area.. I was surprised they had a large selection.. Needless to say I had to have some.. LOL.. As we were leaving the dollar store we ran across Little John Selman and he told us about the main man at Marathon (Robby R.) loosing his position.. Friday was his last day.. After we caught up on the gossip we went to the local Mexican cafe and had a great Supper.. Even the waitress was surprised it was just Chester and I.. I think that means we eat there to much with the kids.. lol.. After supper we went home and kicked back to watch tv.. Nothing much was on so I went to bed early.. I am was so tired but I knew that going to bed early meant I would probably have a early rise..

    Early rise.. 3:30am.. I played with the new scrapbooking things I bought yesterday but tired out I went back to bed at 5am and then slept until almost 10am.. Wow I feel wonderful..
    We had said we would be going to Church today but we didn't.. Chester put away the tax things off of the kitchen table and just lazied around.. This is Super Bowl Sunday.. Chester and I just kicked back and relaxed.. Around 4pm Tiffani called and said that Kevin was having to go out on a job so she, Conner and Gizmo was going to come over and watch the game ... Commercials..
    We ordered pizza, and enjoyed the commercials.. Tiffani played some on the PC catching up on her emails and at the watering hole.. Kevin finished his job and got here during the 2nd quarter and finished up the pizza..

    Payweek.. It will be a challenge but I will make it through it I am sure.
    I received a beautiful Saint Patty Day set from Tea.. I can harly wait to get to use it but I will wait until after Valentines day to do so.
    Tiffani went to the First Nat. Bank today to turn in her resume and had a interview with the President of the bank but the Vice wasn't there so she will go back tomorrow to visit with him.. It would be great if she was able to change banks due to the hours anyway..
    I didn't go to the Photo Club meeting.. I was going to but when I talked to Norma Saturday her MIL was in the hospital and she said she wouldn't be able to go.. When I talked to her earlier today she said she might go after all since her MIL was dismissed from the hospital and was at her BIL's house in the city.. I hadn't bought the things that I needed at the club meeting so I decided to not to try to get around to go..

    Tiffani goes back to the First Nat. Bank today for a interview.. I sure hope she gets the job... To be off on week-ends would be such a great thing for her and her family.. and also PaPa and I..
    The evening was spent in front of the tv watching the final of Amazing Race.. The next season teams was shown and I was surprised that one of the past winners of Survivors is going to be a team..

    Conner was sacked out when Tiffani brought him over this morning. She said he had a hard evening. Cried and cried.. not wanting to eat and nothing seemed to pasivie him until they put him into his swing and he hushed immediately.. Poor baby and Poor Mom and Dad.. There is nothing worse that I can think of at the moment that is worse then a crying baby and not knowing what is wrong. I am sure he had a belly pain and it stopped about the time they put him in his swing.. at least that is what I am hoping.
    Nothing new today, I will be doing the usual.. unless you count laundry .. I am behind but that doesn't surprise me.. giggle.. For just two people we sure do have a lot of laundry.. Mostly today I have to finish payroll and other work things and play with Conner when he wakes..
    About Tiff's job interview: She said it went well and they said that they will let her know when the decision was made.. Living in a small town there is always so many that apply for all the job openings so she didn't know what her chances are.. but my prayers are with her that if it is meant to be that she will be given the chance to change jobs.

    We had a wonderful day doing NOTHING.. I did scrapbook some more past Christmas photo's and Chester started a puzzle.. In between we napped, ate and watched TV.. It was different being at Pa's place without company but we really needed the get away time.. Around 10 we did go eat breakfast at Mom and Pop's Cafe and then stopped by the ranger station to ask about the trail passes.. No one was there so we went on over to the trails. The attendant there gave us the prices.. $175.00 for head of house and next purchase is $75.00.. Well Chester and I would have to go to the trails 14 times to break even .. so we will continue paying each time for now.. which is $7.00 each.

    We had a wonderful time at Pa's place this week-end but it is good to be at home..
    This morning Chester worked some on his puzzle and I continued working on scrapbook pages.. I have done all of Tiffani's and Tracy's Christmas that I had down at Pa's Place. On to baby pictures now.. The problem that I have with doing Tracy's is many are the poloraid type.. You can't crop them so I they will be time comsuming to make a overlay for them to make the actual picture of her show better.. This will take a while to do.. but they will be great when I am finished with them.
    On the way home we stopped to see Conner.. He is playing in a new toy.. One that he stands in and it allows him to turn but it isn't a walker.. He really does seem to enjoy it.. I am hoping my niece will loan me hers since her twins have out grown it by now.. They are crawling and standing on their own now so MAYBE.. I need to call her.
    I have been loading the St Patty Day graphics that Tea sent me last week and a special gift from Tea and her hubby that was in my mail when I got home this evening.. They have all been loaded into My Okie Nest and I love each piece.. Seems like it takes me forever to get ready to change my main pages for the holidays.. The graphics are so pretty I look forward to showing them off.

    It is going to be another absolute gorgeous day outside... IF the wind isn't up I hope to sit out on the back deck this afternoon when I have the company books under control with Conner.. The sun is suppose to be shining and it's to get in the mid 70 degrees. Want a wonderful Valentine's Day.
    Chester and I got Conner a little Valentine rattler but we didn't get the girls anything.. Hummm guess the stories are right when grandkids come along you tend to spoil them instead of your kids..
    UPDATE: Tiffani didn't get the job. She is taking it ok but she sure did want it.
    I took some pictures of Conner today. I brought one of them that was the best of the ones taken into my nest.. He was is such a great mood.
    Chester brought home steaks, potaotes and salad and made dinner for us and the girls and their sweethearts.. Tracy didn't get off work until after 8 but she came and got hers and Destry's and took it to their home to eat..
    NOTE about Conner: His hands are ice cold.. like he isn't getting enough circulation to them.. His arms are warm and he isn't sucking on his hands so I think this is something that needs addressed when he goes to his next check-up if not before.

    WONDERFUL DAY... After Conner arrived I did the usual getting him settled in when I decided to get dressed for town so I could meet Norma at the Ranch House restruant for breakfast. Norma had a denist appointment in town. I had told her since I had Conner I didn't want to try to get him fed, dressed and us into town by myself so she was going to come out here when she got finished at the denist.. The thing is for the past year when she has her appointments in town we would meet for breakfast (Provided it wasn't payroll week) and then stop at Wal-Mart to see what is on the clearance racks.. More to just spend time together than for the specials. In small towns there aren't many choices for shopping.. giggle.. Anyway I meet her in town and we did breakfast and then a short shopping trip at wal-mart, then out to my house to visit and play with Conner.. Norma went toward home around 3pm. We had a wonderful time..
    Tracy worked extra today at the nursing home so when she got off she stopped in to see Conner.. around 4:30 Conner and I loaded up with her and went back to town to meet Tiffani and Chester.. We all had supper together, (Kevin and Destry were both working late)then off to enjoy a evening of R&R at our own homes..
    Note to myself.. Two new members joined Maysville School days..

    Tonight is Survivor night.. Chester is going to bring home hot wings for supper so we won't be cooking and miss any of the show.. He is so sweet..
    I have laundry and housework to do today and tomorrow to get ready for this week-end. We plan on going down to Pa's Place Friday night after we meet Norma and Leo West of Duncan to celebrate Norma's birthday .
    NOTE about Conner: His drolling glands have kicked in big time.. Many many wet bibs .. giggle.. before we know it he will have his first tooth.

Sunday the weather is going to be nice so if the wind isn't blowing maybe we will get to introduce Conner to the outdoors.
    NOTE to me: I ordered from Sizzix the Sizzix personal Die-Cutter, converter system and Playground Alphabet die set. Total for the 3 pieces was 197.47

    Dinner was great last night, Conner woke up just as the meal arrived but he was great just looking around while we ate. The restruant was called The Dry Beaver. Those that joined in on celebrating Norma's Birthday was, Norma and Leo, Jenna and Garlin, Tiffani and Conner, and Chester and I. When we finished dinner the 4 of us headed to Pa's Place getting there around 9pm.. After we were settled we turned in for the night.
    Conner and Tiffani slept in the livingroom. She didn't want to be over in what we call Motel 5 1/2 without Kevin.. It works outs pretty good. We don't have to wonder if Conner is awake or not but Chester and I are usually early risers and with her on the sofa we try to stay up in our room as late as we can. Conner was up around 3am but not for long.. He was hungry..
    Since we came straight down from eating out last night we didn't stop and get the things we usually do on our way down so Chester got around before 9am and went back into Ardmore and bought a few grocreys. SURPRISE He bought Coner a new toy.. It is called a Exersaucer.. I don't know who was more ticked witht the purchase, PaPa, Mom, Conner or Me.. To watch Conner discover new things is great. $29.00 brought all of us many smiles today.
    Mostly we relaxed, watched tv and played with Conner. Tiffani did get a couple hour nap, I did a few pages in Tracy's album and Chester calked a few places around the gutters to hold them over until we do a better repair job on them. We had grilled Chicken, a green salad and baked potato for supper.. quick clean up.. that's what we like at Pa's Place.. We all turned in around 10.

    Tiffani said Conner got up one time during the night.. but Chester and I didn't hear him.. Since our bedroom is a addition to the original house we don't hear much from the livingroom area. Everyone slept in until after 8am. Chester fixed us pancakes, eggs and sausage for breakfast with Tiffani and I doing cleanup, which is really easy using the big grill the girls and their families got us for Christmas..
    I had forgotten that Tiffani was off tomorrow, so after discussing it with Chester I decided to stay at Pa's Place by myself and scrapbook.. I hadn't planned on it and I thought it would be so much fun and relaxing.. Well don't ask me why but my hormones kicked into high gear and all I did for 2 hours after they left was cry.. I hate it when my emotions are completely upside down. I turned in around midnight and read myself to sleep.. I am not scared to be by my self at home or down there but last night the house seemed so empty.. I didn't get any pages done but I did get the photos in order as to how they will be in Tiffani and Tracy's albums.

  • Presidents' Day
    Sweet Treat week began today.. Here are the three things that were treats to me...
    1: Stayed at the lake house by myself and scrapbooked..
    2: Took a nap
    3: Chester took me out for supper on the way home.

    I woke up around 6:30 and after getting some coffee going I started playing with my scrapbooking things.. I feel much better this morning.. No Tears.. giggle
    I scrapbooked most of the day ..Oh I did squeeze a couple hour nap in before Chester came to pick me up.. With a quick close down of Pa's Place we headed home stopping in at El Chico for supper. I talked to Tiffani: she and Conner had a good day at home.. She said he was up twice last night but today he slept most of the morning and afternoon.. Wonder if he will sleep tonight.. giggle.. Seems that his going to Pa's Place for the week-end has gotten him off schedule a little.

    A great day... Nothing much happened today but it was full of blessings. I am truely blessed to get to babysit Conner while his mom works and a big blessing is me working out of my home and my boss being Conners PaPa.. He is so understanding when I don't get all my work done because I played with Conner all day.. lol.. just kidding I do get my work done but sometimes it is hours before Conner gets here in the morning.. and it is worth getting up a little early and getting it done.. That way I do not feel pressured.

    Conner rolled over on his own.. and took his arm out from underneath himself. My goodness before we know it he is pulling his self across the floor.
    Tiffani went to the college to check into seeing what she likes to get her degree... 4 semesters is what they said.. I am not sure what she will decided to do.. My prayers are with her as she struggles with this. She is so unhappy at her job but I jobs are hard to come by around here.. and her finding something that she could work college courses around would be almost impossible.

    This was such a wonderful day.. Conner got here around 8am wide awake, cooing and smiling. I decided I would just kick back and spoil him today and work when and if he took his naps.. needless to say I didn't work but about 2 hours before 5pm.. giggle ..
    NOTE ABOUT CONNER: He has a tiny small red dot underneath his testacies. I am sure it wasn't there yesterday.. Nothing I am sure to worry about but something to watch.

    Today Tiffani didn’t have to go into work until 11:30 so I rushed around and got the company books done so that I would be work free when Conner got there.. After we played awhile he became fussy so I gave him his lunch and he didn’t seem to want to sleep at that time so I put him in his swing while I got my last load of laundry into the dryer.. When I went back into the living room he was fast asleep. Not thinking anything about it he has feel asleep in it before… but this time he didn’t wake up until after 4pm.. Wow if I had know he was going to sleep that long I would have taken a nap myself.
    Chester and I subscribe to the local newspaper that is printed once per week. In it the local restaurant has a drawing from the newspaper subscribers to give them a free steak dinner for two.. Well to make a long story short in the last issue of January 2005 Chester and I won. We haven’t had a chance to go there to eat since then but tonight we did.. They give the winners 30 days to claim the prize so time was running out so Chester and I took his dad and Conner out to eat there. After Tiffani and Kevin got off work they meet us there so in the long run 2 free dinners cost us three dinners.. Giggle..
    NOTE ABOUT CONNER: The red dot is still there.. No bigger no littler.

  • Happy Birthday to Carol
    Chester woke with a runny nose so he called Kevin and told him he didn’t feel up to riding 4-wheelers but that we would be at Pa’s Place if he wanted to come down to ride anyway. Shortly after 9am we headed to PV and did our long overdue grocery shopping. We haven’t purchased any can goods in any quantity this year so after spending $167.00 we think we have enough to last us a few months. Then on to the Pa’s place for the rest of the week-end. Arriving there around 11am, we turned the hot tub up on high, unpacked, Chester stretched out to watch TV which turned in to him taking a nap and I scrap booked until around 4 when Tracy, Destry, Tiffani, Kevin, Conner and Chester's Dad arrived. After giving Granpa a tour of Pa's Place and watch Conner turn from his back to his stomach at least a dozen times, we all went to Ardmore and ate at Catfish corner.. It was OK but not great. After we ate we meet up at Wal-mart, we needed to get Chester some medicine for his cold, Tiffani was wanting dreft for Conners laundry and Tracy bought fishing poles for the kids for Easter.. When we finally left wal-mart it was after 8pm which was going to make Tiffani and them get home after 10.. we wish they would have stayed the night but it was nice of them to bring Granpa down to eat a birthday dinner with Chester.
    Back at Pa's Place, Tracy, Destry and I had a relaxing time in the hot tub.. Chester wasn't feeling good enough to join us.. when we went inside we sit around the kitchen table talking about everything from where how our families were raised to farming.. We had a great day one that I will cherish for ever.

  • 27/28: Kevin's 3 year Anniversay (2002)
    Up around 8, breakfast cooked by Chester, consumed by him, myself, Tracy and Destry. After cleanup Tracy and I took a quick soak in the hot tub while Destry started triming so of the trees and bushes at the front and west side of Pa's Place. We burnt what was cut down and the trimming in a half barrel that David had given us.. It looks so much better but we still like the South side but that won't be done until things started getting green.
    After the tools were put away and showers were taken we ate a quick sandwich and all but me layed down to watch TV, I played with the scrapbooking things.. giggle.. Around 4pm we closed up Pa's Place and came home.
    Tonight is the Academy Awards ~ "Oscar night" but Chester has the controls and I won't be watching until he gives in and goes to bed.. that's OK I really don't get into watching the awards that much and tomorrow there will be play back after play back of who was wearing what and who won what.

    Conner was such a good baby today. A great way to start the week. It is like he knew that I had bookwork stacked up to do. When Chester got home from work, Conner and I went with him to town to meet Conners parents to eat supper at Teranas for Chester's Birthday. Tracy was still working and Destry had a cow down and had to go tend to it..

    Tiffani's love seat was delivered today. Conner and I went over to let the delivery men in thinking we would be there for awhile I was surprised when they showed up within 30 minutes.
    Tonight I was supose to go my Photo club meeting but I just don't have the energy.. So I am staying home, hoping to turn in early.

    I feel much better today. Maybe Chester and I are over the blaws..
    I didn't turn in as early as I had hoped last night.. I forgot it was the beginning of "The Amazing Race" TV program so I stayed up and watched it..
    This morning before Conner got here I hung some pictures that have been stacked in the back bedroom collecting dust waiting on me to JUST DO IT.. I still have one to hang in our main bath but I ran out of time.. I hope to do that this evening.. and it will be one thing off my to do list with many more projects to go.. Most of the things on it are small unfinished projects that I have the material to do but haven't found the time or engery.. Chester's list is the same way, we are both determined to get some of them off our lists before Spring arrives.. Now I am not talking about the big things that we don't have the things to do them or that are time consuming, those we have them on a different list.. Giggle.
    My Sizzix Machine was shipped today.. I can hardly wait to get it.. It should make the heading making much easier.

    I went through a box of Tracy's keepsakes and got out what needed to be added to her scrapbook. Some items are to large so I will leave them loose in her keepsake box.. That is the only thing I did this morning that was on my to do list.. giggle.. I have so many little things that need to be done around here that maybe if I do a couple a week I will get it downsized in no time at all.
    I just found out that that doodleboard will be deleting all free accounts so I am just down to the tag board.. and it doesn't allow to many spaces .. Oh well I will start looking around for something to add in case the tag board is down.

    Conner's stomach has been torn up.. His milk (which is Momma Milk) has not agreed with him which has caused him to be fussie today. I wonder if it is the milk or if he beginning to teeth. He is gumming his hands alot more today than usual.
    Last night I ran across some Tea dolls for adoption that I didn't have so I am proud I found them. They can be seen here
    We are leaving for Pa's place when Tiffani gets off work.. I am so ready for a week-end of R&R.. Tiffani, Conner and Gizmo are going to join us tonight with Kevin, Tracy and her family coming down tomorrow night.. It will be good to see Dalton. We haven't seen him since New Years Eve and Chester hasn't seen Brooklynn since two days before Christmas.
    UPDATE: When we picked up Tiffani, Conner and Gizmo we stopped at Arby's and got sandwiches for supper. After we settled in at Pa's Place we had our supper then I got to do the neatest thing.. I got to feed Conner his bedtime rice ceral.. Getting to do the small things with Conner are such a blessing.
    Since Kevin wasn't able to come down tonight since he is on call this week-end Tiffani and Conner slept in the livingroom. Tomorrow night when Tracy and her family comes down she will go on out into her room..

    Once we all got up and around we went to town to get the grocreys that we will needed for the week-end.. Of course we bought more than just grocreys since we went to the Super Wal-mart in Ardmore. We did get the girls and their families the collerctor DVD BAMBI for Easter, and of course we found a outfit for Conner to wear Easter evening and some cool sunglasses..
    Shortly after we got back to Pa's Place Tracy and her family made it. When everyone was settled in we all got outside to enjoy some sun and to rake leaves.. Everyone helping but Conner.. giggle.. Carol arrived while we were still working so she pictched in and helped too. With all of us chipping in we finished the raking fairly fast so Tracy and her family went for a quick ride on the 4-wheelers while Tiffani, Carol and I took a short soak in the hot tub. Seems like someone was doing something all the time.. While some of us was rinsing off some were beginning supper.. We had crab and shrimp with salad and steamed potatoes, mushrooms and corn. Yummmie it was all wonderful ~ The food ~ The visiting ~ the work.. With our tummies full, kitchen cleaned up, baths taken, it was bedtime before we knew it so we all hit the sack..
    Note: Conner had one of those big BM.. we had to give him a bath to get him cleaned up.. LOL
    Mom and Pop's grocrey is under new management.. Time will tell if that is a good thing or not.

    With the smell of bacon cooking, everyone got up fairly early this morning ... One of these morning down at Pa's Place we will make one breakfast without burning the biscuits. MAYBE.. After the kitchen was cleaned up, Chester went with Tracy and her family for a quick spin on the 4-wheelers while Carol and Tiffani watched TV, Conner played and napped and I did a couple pages in Tracy's Scrapbook. We all headed toward our homes around 4pm with everyone enjoying the week-end.

    Tiffani only worked until 10 this morning then she picked up Conner and they went to the Lumberyard grill for Lunch with Kevin and Tiff's Grandpa then she and Conner went to Grandpa's to do his monthly bills.. With that done they came back to the house and she did the companies month end payroll reports. I got alot of company books done today, with luck even with this being payroll week it will not be real stressful.
    I received my Sizzix Personal Die-Cutter, Sizzix System Converter, and Sizzlits Die Set - Playground today.. Now to find time to play with it.. giggle.

    Wonderful weather this morning but it is suppose to rain.. if it does and Chester can sneak away from work he, Conner and I plan on taking the 4-wheelers to have them tuned up before Spring riding begins. If those plans fall through it will be a normal work day..
    UPDATE:It didn't rain so we didn't take the 4-wheelers to get them serviced..
    Tracy called on her way to town this afternoon and told me that Destry quit his job yesterday.. He is going to be renting a dozer and using it for hire.. Chester and I wish him the best of luck as we know it hard being your own boss.

    Weather was nice but windy. Conner does have a tooth.. 2 days short of 4 months old.. At babycenter.com it says that the vast majority sprout their first tooth between 4 and 7 months of age.how do you brush a 4 month olds teeth? Guess that is anotherr question for the doctor

  • Conner is 4 months old today

  • 11-13: Tiffani and Kevin's Week-end get away. They left from work to catch their plane and should be in Vegas at 8:45 Vegas time. Conner has been a champ today, not to fussie but you can tell that this tooth is bothering him. Chester took the 4 wheelers to have them tuned up around noon today getting home around 4pm.. We then took Conner into Terains for Supper.. Had to celebrate his 4 month birthday.. giggle
    It is 7:30pm and he is asleep but I doubt that he is down for the night..Time will tell.. Chester and I decided not to go down to Pa's Place until we see how Conner does tonight or should I say how his grandpartents do.. If we all get some decent sleep we will go down tomorrow morning.
    NOTE: Gasoline is up to $1.99 dollars a gallon in Lindsay, keeps this up we won't be doing alot of boating this summer.

    March 12, 2005Conner got up around 4am stirring a couple times before that which we only put his pacifier back in his mouth and he fell back to sleep but at 4 Chester got up with him and broke the golden feeding rule he played with him.. Chet said after his bottle and burp he was wide awake and he just couldn't keep from talking to him.. LOL.. Oh well that is what grandparents are all about.. breaking the rules.
    We did take the boat to get it unwinterized at Norman. While we were up there, I picked up some scrapbooking things from the scrapbooking store on Main street, then a stop at walmart.. Of course we had to eat while we were in Norman so we went to the Red Zone (bar-b-que)and then with a full tummie we headed home.
    This evening Conner became kind of fussie and as I was rubbing a cloth on his gum I realized him gums are swollen so he is probably has another tooth coming in.. I do need to pull the girls baby books out and see when their first tooth was seen and when the next ones came in.. I really thought it would be a couple of weeks before he got another one.

    We stayed in today since the weather was so cold. Conner got up around 8am stirring a couple times during the night that we had to put his pacifier back in his mouth but I think it was a good night for all of us.

    Tiffani gets off work at Noon today so I will not try to get into the company work until after she comes after Conner. I think it will be easier than jumping in and out of the program that I do the books on.
    UPDATETiffani brought us lunch and it was so nice to sit and visit with her a little while we ate. She didn't stay long as Conner was getting ready for his afternoon nap and I had work I needed to get done.
    Chester cooked supper and I broke from work long enough to eat but I stayed hooked and got mostly caught up on my bookwork working until 10pm. After a quick shower I called it a night..

    I do believe Conner will be cutting another tooth soon. He is chewing on anything he can get into his mouth.. but he is being a good baby when I know his gums hurt. I'm not sure what my days holds. I will play it by ear and see what Conner will let me do.. giggle. Tiffani is off tomorrow so I might just run down to Pa's Place for the night and scrapbook.

    Instead of going down to Pa's place as I had thought about, I worked and that afternoon Chester and I took things to the accountant that she still needed. With that done we stopped at Tio's for supper and came home and I got the laundry and house work done cause I am going to Pa's Place tomorrow. Tiffani has meetings in OKC Thursday and Friday. She is staying the night up there Thursday Night and won't get home until after 7 Friday so I talked her into letting me take Conner down early since she also has to work Saturday until 3pm.

    Chester left for work at 4:30am but Conner and I didn't get up and around until about 7am. I spent the day relaxing with Conner.. We got the stroller out and did a few turns under the covering in the front of the house. The wind was still a little strong to have him out much. While we were outside I didn't pull the door closed and a bird flew inside the house.. What a adventure for me..
    Chester got back around 5pm.. whew it was a long day for him since he had to work and also attend Randy Jarman Dad's funeral.

  • Chester's cousin Leeane Birthday Conners first time to go to church and he was a great guy through the complete service. We (Chester, Tiffani, Conner and myself) attend a SMALL(5 members in attendance) country Baptist church down by the lake about 3 miles from Pa's Place. We was somewhat surprised as we enter we realized were the only whites there.. but we were made welcome and felt comfortable worshiping with our brother and sisters in Christ..

    Running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get my work done and getting the house ready so that when we go down to Pa's place this week-end I won't come home to a big mess.. Easter at the lake house is going to be a memory maker.. Both girls and their familes are joining us, plus Destry's grandma, Nanna and we hope my middle sister and nephew David and his family.. I wish the weather was going to be nicer but Oh well I have seen Easter with snow on the ground and we still had a wonderful holiday..

    Babysitting Conner and work was my day again today. Tiffani said last night he turned from his tummie to his back but only once and he did it again today...     Again today Babysitting Conner and work is on my plate today. This is pay week so busy busy days until this is done. Sometime I have to get to the grocrey store to get the things for this week-end.. Probably won't make it and will have to stop on the way down to Pa's Place.. Stress ... Deep breath.. giggle.
    Tonight we will watch Survivor, mercy to let a tv program determine what you do is sad..

    The weather is just crazy.. We've had rain and or cloud cover the past few days but it made it into the high 60's today and will be rainy and cold over the week-end.
    Chester went to Seahorn to pick up the ATV's.. We are glad to get them serviced but it is a pain to take them up there and then go back later to pick them up.. It is a good 2 hour drive both ways to Shawnee so it takes a half of day to do this.
    Tonight I took Conner home since Tiffani was having a Home and Garden show.. It was fun to be around other women for a change. She ended up with a $300.00 party so she will get some nice gifts for being a hostess.

    March 25, 2005
    Chester, Conner and I went down to Pa's Place around 1pm. After we unloaded we went back to wal-mart super center and bought grocreys for the week-end. By the time we were finished Kevin and Tiffani had made it to Ardmore so we ate at the Rib crib for supper.. YUCK.. we will not be wondering what it is like again.. or eating there it was terrible. Tracy and her family plus Destry's Nana made it to the Pa's place around 9.. With everyone turning in except Tracy and I.. I stayed up with her and we shared a beer while she took a quick soak in the hot tub before she turned in.

    After a large breakfast the family just kind of hung out.. Tracy, Nana and I helped Dalton and Brooklynn dye Easter eggs.. This was Brooklynn's first time to ever get to help dye any eggs..
    Tracy and Destry brought steaks for supper, Kevin grilled them and we had a green salad, cheese corn, fried potatoes and hot bread to round the meal out.
    After supper we gathered around the tv (except the kids and they played on the stairs0 and watched The Passion. Once the show was finished most of us turned in for the night except for Tracy and Destry, they worked alittle more on the bullet puzzel.

    All of us attended services at a medium size community Church about 6 miles from Pa's Place.
    When we got back to Pa's place we ate a quick hamburger and then hid and hunted eggs.. Dalton and Brooklynn are not real good at the hide and seek game.. LOL.. so we had to give them hot and cold help.. The kids and their families left to go to their homes around 4pm and Chester left to go home around 6pm.. I stayed to meet the hot tub repair man that is suppose to come tomorrow.

    The hot tub wasn't fixed again today, the service man didn't bring the supplies to fix it.
    Conner had his doctor appointment this morning, with his third round of shot given. Weight~ 16 pounds 2oz. Length: 27 1/4inches

    Leo and Norma came by for a little while today, Tiffani and Kevin had their first softball practice.. That is about the only thing special that happened today.

    Chester is going down to Pa's Place by his self tomorrow to get the hot tub back panel removed for the repair man that is suppose to come back Friday and get the leak fixed... We are going to have to look into getting a fill in sitter for Conner so that I can go with him at times like this..

    Tiffani brought Conners johnny jumper over this morning, we hooked it up on the bathroom door frame so that he could see me when he is in it if I am on the computer.. Of course with just him and I here I don't have to worry about closing the door but if company stops by I will need to remember to take it down.. giggle. You would think that I would have gotten alot of work done while he was playing in it... but NO.. I couldn't miss watching him jump jump jump.. He did seem to feel better today but is still fussie.. Could it be that Grandma is spoiling him??? or are his upper teeth trying to come in???
    Chester left for Pa's Place after survivor. I will go down tomorrow after Conner gets here for the week-end..

    After Tiffani brought Conner over I feed him his breakfast and changed him for the trip down to pa's place.. After a full tummie and fresh clothing I loaded him and Gizmo into the car.. WHAT .. the thing won't turn over.. So I unloaded Conner and called Chester.. He in turn called Robert and he came out and jumped off the Surban. Reloading Conner we headed to the lake house (Pa's Place). We got there at the same time as the hot tub repairman.. He had to drain the tub to fix the leak.. not refilling for at least 24 hours. He said the other area that we thought was leaking was from when people are adjusting the jets.... Poo we don't believe it but what are we to do we can't see a drip so we wait to see if it is from the jets.

    I am feeling rotten.. Guess this sinus thing is turning into a head cold.. I didn't even scrapbook, I just layed around playing and tending to Conner. Chester did pick up around the outside of the house but basically we just kicked back. Tiffani and Kevin came down around 5, we ate hotdogs then they went back home.. As soon as they left I went to bed...

    I knew I was sick but I thought I was able to keep Conner.. Tracy saved the day for me and for Conner she showed up around 10am and took him home with her.. I went straight to bed and slept on and off until around 6pm. Chester fixed me some malt-o-meal and bacon for supper which hit the spot.. Then I worked on payroll until 10 thinking there would be no way I would be able to sleep since I slept all day, but I didn't wake up until after 6am this morning.

    I am back among the living.. Head is still full feeling but at least my nose isn't running faster than I can wipe.. Chester went on a hot shot run to Odessa Texas today.. I expect him home around 2 am.. He will be one tired dude.

    Chester got home around 1:30 and back up and off to work before 6am.
    Conner had another great day. He is beginning to sit alone for longer period of times. Today was his first day for Pears.. Now he has had Carrots, applesauce and now pears and so far he likes the fruit best which I think is natural.
    Chester brought home Jo's Pizza since he was coming in from the North for a change.. We called the girls to tell them what we were having so Tiffani, Kevin, Tracy and Brooklynn joined us for supper.. Funnie how they made time for Jo's pizza.. giggle.

    Today it was nice enough to open some windows and get some of the winter stale air out of the back bedrooms.. We don't use those rooms often and it seems they get musty even though I dust and vaccumm them at the same time I do the rest of the house.
    Very little company work done today, I am still kicking this cold and Cheryl was here this morning which threw Conner off schedule. This was one of those days you roll with the flow. It still surprises me how little sleep Conner demands in the day.. If he slept more than a hour total all day it was power naps or maybe he is sleepign with his eyes wide open.. giggle
    Tonight on survivor Bobby Jon from Alabama ~ Los Angeles ~ Waiter and want to be star was beat by Stephenie making fire.. This has been a strange survivor series.
    NOTE: Chris was released today to his x wife Treasa.. They will be at Tiffani and Kevin through the week-end.

    Kevin came out and picked Conner and Gizmo up around 4pm.. He was taking Gizmo to his 4:30 vet appointment for his alergy shot. Shortly after they left Chester and I loaded up and headed to the lake house (Pa's Place).. We stopped at the chocolate factory, which we had been wanting to do for a long time.. Of course we had to purchase some.. LOL... then we stopped at Nita's cafe for supper and a quick visit finally getting to the lake house around 8pm.. By the time we unloaded and checked out the house we turned in..
    NOTE: Tiffani played softball at Newcastle. She rode up with Donna and Eldon. They won one lost one. Kevin stayed hom with his brother and Treasa and kept Conner since the games were late and they didn't want Conner out in the night air.

    Chester went golfing this morning getting back around noon.. I had a blast doing some scrapbooking and soaking in the hot tub. This evening we went into ardmore where I picked up some new scrabooking things from Hobby Lobby then we ate at Elchico.. We both were stuffed when we left. We turned in around 11 but I tossed and turned and couldn't fall asleep so I got up and scrapbooked until around 2am..

    Chester was up early but with me being up late I didn't get up until after 8. We didn't do to much but Chester did get new screen put on our bedroom and Tracy's bathroom windows. We still need to do Tracy's room and our bathroom. He also cut another opening in hot tub frame because he found two more drips that couldn't be reached otherwise.
    We both squeezed in a short nap between Chester working around the house, watching tv, doing laundry, housework and of course me scrapbooking..
    As we pulled into home I said we should have went to pick up my car from Tiffani's.. That's all Pa needed to hear cause we were both wanting to see Conner.. Funny how being away from him for two days seems like weeks.. giggle. Chris and Treasa were still there. It was nice to get to watch Chris with Conner. Tracy passes Tiffani's each day on her way to and from work. Working in the hospital her first thing to do when she gets home is shower but Tracy stopped in on her way home from work, teasing us on having a family gathering without her.. Tracy wanted to hold Conner so bad but with her just getting off work she didn't. but that didn't stop her from talking to him ..

    Conner is 5 months old today.. Little work was done until Tiffani came after Conner then after supper I worked on invoices while Chester did our personal bills.. The accountant called and our taxes will be ready to be picked up Wednesday.. Yep we owe Uncle Sam but not as much as we did last year.. We were able to take the deduction of the lake house off since we are renting it out. I am just glad that we are not required to rent it out to the public, so far the girls have been our renters

    Chester and I headed out to Pa's place pulling the boat around 8am. When we got to Ardmore Chester let me out at Wal-mart to get some things that we had on our list while he went down to the car wash and washed the boat. I wish I could say that I stuck to my list but when I saw a lifejacket that would fit Conner I had to have it while it was available.. giggle.. Even with the stops we got to Pa's Place and unloaded before 11.. First off we started pumping the water out of the hot tub, but before we were half way finished David and Robin showed up ready to go 4-wheeling.. Of course we dropped everything and off we went. Donnie and Trevor meet us over at the trails and we had a great day. The only mishap was when Trevor hit a bump in a incline and ended up with his 4-wheeler on top of him in the bottom of at least a 6 foot deep revine. He is a Lucky young man. Back at Pa's Place around 8pm, we showered, ate on the bar-b-q that David and Robin had brought down. Then played one game of Canasta and turned in for the night..

    Began with breakfast at Mom and Pop's cafe which I have said before I should have cooked at the house because it took us a hour to get waited on and our food and there was only four of us this time.
    When we got back to the house Chester worked on the hot tub then we all changed back into our riding clothes and set out to the lake. This was David and Robin's first time to join us in riding from the house so we had a great time.. David did have a little accident when he was going up a incline and decided it was to steep so he was backing down and one of his back tires went into a wash out which caused the 4-wheeler to flip.. David baled off with no injury to him or his bike, just to his pride.

    My nerves are shot.. Why??? Who knows, I just feel so overwhelmed with things that need to be done I am trying to catch up around herebut seems I am getting farter and farter behind. One of the oil companies that we have worked for since we started the business has requested some work tickets from September 2002.. and they can't believe it is going to take me a few days to find the hard copies.. Crap they are stored away at the shop.. Another thing to add to my must get done..
    Today the wind was blowing like crazy but with it ccoming from the South I was able to get Conner outside on the front porch for a little while. He loves it ourside already.

    Today was a great day. With work finished early this morning I was able to relax and play with Conner..Today he made me laugh so much.. He would lean his head to his left and just strain when something new caught his eye.. He may not be doing this tomorrow but today he did it alot and it was just tooooooo cute.. I painted the bottom of his feet and applied to a bag for him.. I was surprised that he let me do this but he just laid so still and now we have the prefect print of his feet at 5 months old.. I should have done it on paper but I didn't think of it until I had his feet all cleaned up.
    Around 4:30 Kevin came after Conner and kept him while Tiffani went to Newcastle to play two games back to back. Chester and I went to Jean's cafe for supper then went to Alex to watch Caleb and Zack play coach pitch baseball. Others there to watch the boys play were Caleb's parents and his sister, Wayne and Betty, Doyle and Racine, Arthur and Jonnie Ann, Zack's Mom and his brothers, Robby and Douglas, and Carol.
    NOTE: The say it box I have been using for tags is missing in action. The code is still on the page but it isn't showing up. Stange.

    April 23, 2005
    Blow wind blow.. and from the North with temps in the low 60's. Normally I would just stay in but both girls, Kevin and David, Kassi and C.J. are playing in the Relay of life benefit softball tournment at Lindsay. Chester went up early but Conner and I waited until it was time for his Mom, Dad and Aunt Tracy time to play. Conner had on plenty of layers plus being in his stoller with quilts and blankets over it blocking the wind he snug as a bug. We only stayed for one game then we came back home. Chester went back for the 4pm games and will probably stay late. I didn't want to get Conner out in the wind again so we stayed home. Tiffani and Kevin won't be coming after Conner until the tournment is over since it is her bank that got the benefit together.
    UPDATE: Conner stayed the night with us, the last game was not going to start until after 10pm and then Tiff had to help with clean up putting them home after midnight. Conner went to bed around 9pm up at 11 but putting pacifier back in his mouth he settled right back down. Up again at 1:30 and I couldn't find his pacifier so I laid him in bed with Chester and before I could get the pacifier he was fast asleep again. So I left him in bed with Pa and I curled up on the sofa. Conner woke again around 4 but again Pa gave him back his pacificer and he stayed asleep until 8am.. Not a smooth night but not a hard one either.

    Tiffani and Kevin came after Conner around noon. They are two tired parents. After they left Chester and I just piddled around in the yard and then both of us kicked back for a afternoon nap. Carol came by around 4 which woke us.. LOL.. I was glad because I would have a hard time going to sleep tonight if I would have slept longer.

    We had Chester cakes for supper with Tiffani and Kevin joining us. After we ate we all meet Tracy and Destry at Lindsay for Brooklynn's softball game. The weather was still real cool so as soon as the game was over we came home.

    Tiffani had the day off today since she has to work Saturday. It was quite around here without Conner but I really enjoyed catching up on many things plus I even had a nap.. LOL

    Conner will be here today.. I am rested and so ready to see the little fellow. Nothing much going on around here, the weather is going to be nice today so I hope that I can piddle around some more in the yard if the wind isn't blowing to the point Conner can't be taken outside.
    POKE is greens made from pokeweed which is wild in this area. You have to boil it twice to remove the toxin, discarding the water after the first boiling. To me it looks like spinach but if not cooked good it can be bitter. There is a song called ELVIS PRESLEY lyrics - "Polk Salad Annie" .. What memories..
    Tonight is another TV night. We have started watching the show ""Revelations," NBC, " I am not sure yet what I think of it but I do plan on continue watching for now but there are so much that is so far off base..

    UPDATE: Conner was somewhat fussie today, I am not sure if it is because Shanna is here or if he just doesn't feel good. Anyway I did get some of my work caught up on but not as much as I had hoped. I am sure that it will go better next time when Shanna comes as she will be more comfortable and so will Conner.

    Both Chester and I was up before the sun rose. Tiffani had to work today and Kevin was on call so when she got here with Conner and Gizmo we loaded up and went down to Pa's Place. On the way we stopped at a couple of yard sales. We only found one thing but we did bye it. It was a little tike bikes that Conner will enjoy next year down at the lake for $1.00.. Once down at the lake Chester started filling the hot tub and putting screen on the last two windows and just piddling outside. Conner and I just hung out and played. Around 4pm we dressed and meet Tiffani and Kevin at Wal-mart and then we ate at Sirilion stockade.. Conner made it through the meal sitting in one of their wooden high chairs..He is growing up way to fast. After we ate they went on home and we went back to pa's place. Chester watched some tv and I played with my scrapbooking.
